Some thoughts about love

Lord Tennyson told us that "it is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all."

But is it really? I am convinced that it must hurt much less to never love. Why did he tell us that? Did he never find love and was he jealous of those who had? If so, then what an ignorant quote, and we should be mindful to stop repeating it.

But here is one I have finally found solace in: "The truth shall set you free."

To finally hear the truth - I've found that it is the only thing that will ever allow me to move on. I have heard it now and so I am filled with sweet relief; a weight lifted from my chest and a smile across my lips.

You do not love me.
